In a cruel twist of fate, she also lost her sight soon after.

At the time of her mother's passing, her son was just four years old and completely unaware of the struggles that would come their way. Throughout the years, he has had to juggle his responsibilities as a student with taking care of his blind mother. Now, at 14 years old, he still shoulders this immense responsibility, sacrificing time with friends and activities to ensure his mother's well-being.

Despite the support from her Grandmother and loved ones, this young boy feels that his mother's care is solely his burden to bear. Days Inn By Wyndham In Monroe Deny Service Two Black Individuals That Wear Hair Oil 

On the 1st day of April, the Days Inn by Wyndham in Monroe, LA (located at 5650 Frontage Rd) made a shocking decision. They denied a well-known human rights leader's request for rooms for families who were facing flooding situations. The reason? Their hair contained oil, which the hotel claimed violated their human rights. Upon hearing this, the wife of the human rights leader immediately contacted him, and he arrived at the hotel expecting a different outcome. However, he was met with the same response. When he asked the hotel owners if they knew who he was, they replied with a question of their own: "Who are you?" It was only when they learned that he was a human rights leader that their tone changed drastically. He demanded that they shut down their establishment and threatened to take them to court. Sadly, this is not an isolated incident in the black community of Monroe and West Monroe. Despite reaching out to Wyndham, they have yet to respond to this blatant violation of human rights.

Corrupt Judge Philip Lester 

On the 4th of March, according to the map below, Minister John Badger, leader of the Human Rights Department in Louisiana, states that Officer Sergeant John McKinney stalked him without probable cause and pulled him over when he was parked at a medical facility's parking lot. If you look at the map, you can see Mr. Badger's vehicle in blue, traveling north at the speed limit of 35 mph, giving the officer no valid reason to travel almost half a mile down the road, only to return and harass him. As the officer collected charges to try and place on Mr. Badger, tensions rose. Mr. Badger asked why he was being pulled over, to which the officer did not respond and instead requested his license and registration. Mr. Badger refused to comply until he received an explanation for the stop. However, his questions and resistance landed him in handcuffs, violating his civil rights and human rights to know the reason for the stop. Mr. Badger did not object to being arrested, but he did ask the officer if he could put his hands in the front due to trauma in his shoulders and back. Currently, Mr. Badger is having difficulty walking due to severe nerve damage caused by the officer's actions. As Mr. Badger believed the incident was over and done with, he anticipated going home and recuperating from the traumatic encounter with the officer who forced him into a truck that he couldn't even fit in. This caused immense pain to Mr. Badger, as indicated by his medical records. Despite being physically compromised, Mr. Badger received a summons for April 2nd, 2024. However, when he called the clerk of court's office, a young lady informed him that if he did not show up for court, a warrant for his arrest would be issued. Mr. Badger explained that he had already sent in the necessary information to be excused from court, but to no avail. He also reached out to District Attorney Pierre of Bastrop, Louisiana, multiple times before his court date, but received no response or call back.

Yet, Mr. Pierre had the time to answer calls from other judges, lawyers, and individuals at his local office in Monroe, Louisiana. This is a clear violation of judicial conduct, as observed by Mr. Badger himself inside the Bastrop courtroom. Mr. Pierre showed blatant disrespect towards Mr. Badger, who was representing himself in court. When Mr. Badger requested a suitable court date, Mr. Pierre deliberately planned it for within the next 2 hours and told Mr. Badger to take a seat. As a self-represented litigant in Louisiana, Mr. Badger noticed that they are treated as inferior citizens with no rights. He even claims that Judge Philip Lester told him to shut up in open court when he was trying to present his case. Mr. Badger questioned the judge, asking if he was not entitled to a fair hearing, to which the judge replied, "not today." Due to the unjust actions of these individuals, Mr. Badger has contacted the judicial board and the FBI to investigate the matter. As Mr. Badger slowly approaches his vehicle, a sense of discomfort washes over him at the sight of Officer Sergeant John McKinney taking photographs with his iPhone. This isn't the first time the officer has done so without probable cause, seemingly determined to gather more evidence against him. Minister Badger can't help but feel exasperated with the state of law enforcement in Bastrop, Louisiana. He urges them to pull themselves together, for they will soon learn the consequences of crossing him. In the legal field, they seem to believe it's easy for him because he didn't have to take the bar exam - but it was never a choice for him. He distinctly remembers stating that he would never subject himself to such a test, for it would only align him with a system that works against the people, not for them.

Black Americans Is Tired of Asking For What's Rightfully Theirs

    The rationale behind the government's denial of reparations to Black Americans remains a mystery, as they have provided us with reasons solely in support of paying these individuals. Nevertheless, it is undeniable that black Americans paved the way for the creation of the United States of America. Over time, this truth has begun to surface from under the veil of secrecy, exposing the lies that have benefited the American people. It is now clear: America is built on Black America, with our people being traded and mistreated for centuries. As Minister John Badger once proclaimed, "If it wasn't for the black breast-feeder parents, some Caucasian lives wouldn't even matter." Caucasian parents were known for abandoning their babies, leaving them to be raised by black American women. Where do you think your father got his rhythm from? Not from his own mother, but from the maid who raised him. Now, it is time for the descendants of these maids, these American women, to be compensated. America, where is our reparation? The United States holds immense power, having given billions of dollars to individuals outside of the country, yet they have left us, black Americans, to suffer in the chaos they have created. Why must we continue to suffer in silence, when we could be paid fairly for our suffering?

    Do you believe that if black Americans reclaim what once belonged to them, it will result in them regaining control of America? Is this your struggle, not ours? Unlike other ethnicities, we have never stolen, killed, or enslaved anyone. Yet, we are consistently targeted. Is it because we remain peaceful? Because we continue to rely on the religion that was imposed on us to keep us in check? Do you know that Black America has been a part of America for centuries? Despite this, we have allowed others to control and run the country. The Black Wall Street is just one example of how far this has gotten us. Our actions and stability show that we have the aptitude, mindset, and determination to run the country better than those in power. However, due to the color of our skin, we are often overlooked for public offices. It is time for America to willingly make a change. As many influential black Americans have stated, "We did it your way, now let us fix our country - our motherland." 

       As we delve into the depths of our work at Ground Zero Local News, fervently gathering reports, we had the opportunity to speak with multiple elderly Black mothers and fathers. They shared their perspective on how the state of Black America wasn't always impoverished. There was a time when Caucasians were dependent on us for sustenance, resources, and knowledge. However, once they acquired our ideas, they held us captive, preventing us from sharing our knowledge with each other. This caused us to fall behind our enemies. In addition, they also discussed the Constitution and its creation. It was written before Black lives were deemed free. In fact, some questioned how any law could apply to us from a document written before our freedom was attained. The Constitution was created to keep the Caucasian Americans in check, due to their outrageous actions of enslaving, killing, and raping Black Americans. One gentleman from the elder Black group even mentioned a time when Black Americans were hunted like animals. She firmly believes that their descendants are entitled to reparations, and she will continue to fight until justice is served. She also emphasized that not all Caucasians are bad people; in fact, many of them gave their lives for the oppressed, but their sacrifices often went unnoticed. The government, however, is aware of their deeds and keeps them hidden in order to maintain their power and control over us, manipulating us and keeping us divided from our allies in the Caucasian community who have suffered similar injustices. In an effort to shed light on the realities faced by homeless women and children in Louisiana, Ground Zero Local News embarked on a social study over the course of six weeks. Twenty white women and twenty black women, each with children, posed as homeless individuals to gauge the support and assistance they received from the public. The findings were both disheartening and eye-opening. While every white woman and child received some form of help, such as housing or food, only one African American woman with children, who happened to have light skin, was provided with resources. The remaining nineteen dark-skinned African American women were left to fend for themselves. This study seeks to expose the systemic problems within Louisiana's spending habits, highlighting the government's failure to address the pressing issue of homelessness among black American women and children. The $250,000 lawsuit against West Monroe was deemed warranted by its residents, as reported by Ground Zero Local News media.

There have been complaints from local inhabitants suggesting that law enforcement officials in West Monroe frequently go beyond their mandate when engaging with people of color, particularly those identified as Black Americans.

Following a conversation with a police officer from West Monroe wishing to retain privacy concerning his views on the impending court case and its associated costs, he divulged that city officials plan to obligate financial reparations from local residents of color.

During a conversation with John Badger, the initiator of the lawsuit, he displayed emotional distress while referring to the court proceedings addressing grievances concerning mistreatment by authorities from City of West Monroe . He shared how these events mirrored memories surrounding his late father - especially given that Mr.Badger faced those circumstances so closely timed after laying his own parent to rest.During his interview with GZL News media, Mr. John Badger became emotional as he reflected on the significance of the room he was in, which was the last place his father was before passing away.

His main apprehension is not being granted a just trial by the Ouachita Parish Court system since he feels he's unwelcome due to supporting local citizens while utilizing all legal protections afforded him under U.S law during personal representation in court.

GZL News investigated allegations against assistant DA John Pham after video footage showed him lunging at defendants. Despite numerous complaints to the supreme Court office of special counsel, no action has been taken.

It appears that the defendant has been attacked multiple times within the court system. In a recent court hearing, public defender Katy Balsamo shouted out loud, 'Lock him up! He's a nobody!' Despite not being involved in the case. Our team at GZL News is perplexed after reviewing all video footage from previous hearings, which we previously reported had been handed over to the office of special counsel., We discovered from a citizen recording obtained by our investigation that several complaints have been filed against this particular public defender with no action taken as claimed on camera by Michael Courteau when he stated; You can submit your grievances until you are blue in the face because I spend most of my time down there and work closely alongside those people nothing will ever happen'. The citizen then left the office after filing the complaint but was met with radio silence just like predicted.

The judge and prosecutor in Ouachita Parish Court were observed communicating over a cigarette during a long trial period, while the defendant waited on them. The judge later pronounced the defendant guilty, despite ignoring all evidence proving his innocence. A review of the videos by GZL News revealed that the judge prioritized the district attorney in this case, as he never took his eyes off her throughout the proceedings. It is also evident that the judge committed several felonies during the court hearing process. This case was frivolous on the state's part, but the young man was found guilty because he chose to defend himself and his own cases, resulting in him receiving 'good old boys justice.'
